Installing PHPmotion

1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://www.yoursite.com/setup. You will be greeted with the following page:

   Click >>Next

2. On this page, you will be asked for your FTP information. This is needed to set the directory permissions. Enter your FTP information in the text fields.

   Click >> Next

3. If everything went well in the previous step, everything will show PASS on this page. If anything shows FAIL, you will need to manually CHMOD them using your FTP client.

4. Enter the MySQL information you created on page 2 of this guide.

   Click >>Next

5. Enter the appropriate server settings. If you don’t know the paths to ffmpeg, flvtool2 and mencoder click the Click Here link at the bottom of the page.

   Click >> Update Information

6. If everything went well, you should get a success screen which will contain your admin user name and password.

7. If you disconnected your FTP client, reconnect and navigate to your public_html directory.
8. Right click on the setup folder and select Delete
   
9. Go back to your web browser and click >>Login<<

Log into your admin panel and begin enjoying the wonderful world of PHPmotion!
